While there were a fair amount of pieces, it assembled very quickly. Everything is very sturdy and heavy which makes it seem more elevated. We love the look of the set on our patio. It DUMPED early the other day and I was still able to sit on it that evening and it was already dried out (note, we do live in a drier climate but this still seemed IMPRESSIVE). Highly recommend!
